Sometimes, when you’re discussing something with a Joyful Wisdom Buddy, a topic will come up that stirs your heart. This topic may express what you sense about your mission in life. Your higher self may have planted this inspiration in your mind. Typically, these promptings will address questions that are bigger than your own personal concerns.
You will recognize these inspirations by the fact that you’ll want to discuss them with more than one Joyful Wisdom Buddy. By escalating your new passion to be a Mutual Choice Topic, you can get the entire Joyful Wisdom Community to work on them with you.
Examples might include:
- What we can do to reduce the role of violence in our society?
- What can we do as individuals to save the planet?
- How can we work against oppression in our own country?
Whatever it is that inspires your heart, ask one or more Joyful Wisdom Buddies to help you flesh out what your inspiration means. Use the Core Co-Mentoring methods with your Joyful Wisdom Buddy or Buddies to do this.
Then ask them to help you write an introduction to that topic. If it is your idea, you should write the first draft and then ask them to look over what you’ve written and add their two cents.
Then post your topic here as a comment.
In addition, I need a volunteer who will use Talking Stick, Talking Mirror with me to review any suggested Mutual Choice Topics in this general category. After this volunteer and I discuss the topic, we may ask you to edit your comments, or we may simply give your topic a page of its own without any editing.

On this page, please post topics, and please volunteer to help me through the comments section below. I will eventually want to turn this function entirely over to volunteers.
Thank you.
